A sweet baby-girl born on the 2nd of December 1944 to the prosperous Amin family in Aurangabad named ‘Niranjana’. The only girl amongst five brothers was naturally brought up with great care, love, affection & special attention by all. Lovingly called as ‘Niru’, was a notorious, bossy but very intelligent & sharp girl by nature.
She regularly prayed to Lord Hanuman to give her the intelligence & knowledge to become an expert doctor – not to make big bucks but to serve the society and heal their sufferings completely. Having a photogenic memory it was not difficult for child Niru to memorize studies and score well in exams.
Niruben, now called by all, while studying in a medical college in Aurangabad heard about Pujya Dadashri & HIS unique Akram vignan from her elder brother Bhaskarbhai who stayed in Vadodara, Gujarat. What appealed to young Niruben was special words told to her that ‘……after attaining this Akram vignan no worldly happiness or sorrow can affect your inner peace & happiness……….’ These lines forced Niruben to think seriously about attending Pujya Dadashri’s gnan-vidhi and attain self realization in just two hours.
She traveled to Vadodara, Gujarat from Aurangabad, Maharashtra and took gnan on 8th July 1968. In an interesting incident Niruben used to tell us that as soon as she heard about Pujya Dadashri, HE came in her dream that very same night and gave her blessings. On the actual day of meeting HIM she saw the same ‘elderly man in black coat & hat’ that had come in her dream & had blessed her.
After taking gnan Niruben finished her medicine and became a MBBS doctor. She also successfully completed M.D. in gynecology in Aurangabad. Everyone in the family expected young Niruben to set up a practice and her father had plans to build a hospital for her, however, Niruben had a different plan in her mind. She thought “if I practice as a good & honest doctor may be I would heal people’s physical diseases, however, if I serve & look after the Gnani then many people’s mental, emotional & intellectual problems will be healed by the Enlightened Atma-gnani & HIS unique Akram vignan.”
Thus, at the tender age of 22, Niruben left the comforts of the home and served the Gnani for 20 good years, till HIS last breath like a mother, daughter & a nurse.
Pujya Dadashri had blessed Niruben saying, “Niruben! You shall be renowned as ‘THE MOTHER’ of the world”, and thus Niruben earned this new name ‘NIRUMA’ (‘MAA’ means Mother) as a symbol of Vatsalaya (motherly love) & Prem-swaroop (example of pure love).
Pujya Niruma had great aspirations for kids and always wanted kids to understand & apply practically Pujya Dadashri’s simple but logical teachings like avoid clashes, adjust everywhere, ask for forgiveness etc. for permanent happiness in life. Pujya Niruma used to conduct camps for kids and gave them encouragement in all walks of life.
Pujya Niruma departed for Mahavideha Kshetra on 19th March 2006 asking us to give her the only promise to ‘Live in love & harmony with all’. She assured to be present in Simandhar City (an enlightened city for the spiritual aspirants) in the form of Gnan & Pure love.
