This Diwali brought with it some more fun, adventure, thrill and excitement for the Little MHTians in the form of Fuzion. The event welcomed lads from cities all over India like Rajkot, Mumbai, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Surat, Jamnagar, Morbi, Gandhidham and our very own Simandhar City.
The event had a splendid start on the first day with an introduction clip on different L-MHT centers all over the world. After this, the little buds enjoyed a special surprise; which was nothing but a slide show of their captured memories during the local L-MHT sessions with special tag lines!! After that, began the unique greeting ceremony which had each center welcoming the other by adorning them with handmade colorful badges. What a moment of oneness!
This was followed by an eye-opener drama on overuse of mobile and television performed by the didis. This drama left a noteworthy message for the kids on maintaining a balance between use of T.V., use of mobile phones and outdoor games. What came next was an activity based on this drama which provided a gentle awareness to the kids on where they waste their time. They were asked to list down their daily schedule in the form of a smiley timetable.
The size of the smiley corresponded to the number of hours they spent doing that task. The most adventurous and fun filled part of the event was still to come - The hurdle game.
This game involved participation of one member from each group through a series of hurdles like buckets of water, a pathway with tied ropes, a tunnel of chairs and so on. Every participant had a helper friend to guide him along. This game taught them an important lesson on acceptance of things coming their way. This message got strengthened when they were shown a clip from the movie 'Tara Rum Pum' showing how the little children were taking adjustments through adversities of life.
Nonstop fun continued with didis mimicking situations of problems in life and kids' intellect was triggered to give necessary solutions. Night time didn't mean rest time for the campers. They were all ready to present their centers in unique ways like robotic display of L-MHT session, introduction in poetic manner and so on. This is how the first day ended.
A short trip to Kakaria Lake the next day was like an icing on the cake. They enjoyed seeing the animals in the zoo. The kids' city allowed the little power packs to portray their oomph. Everyone got an opportunity to experience life as a policeman, lawyer, and doctor etc. to help them decide their careers.
The Fuzion proved to be an 'all in one roof' event where the enthusiastic kids enjoyed and learnt some basic and important things of life.
