We often make mistakes. And when our elders teach us how to improve our mistakes, we don’t listen to them or their viewpoint. Isn’t it? Let’s experiment and learn how to become open minded.
Take a bottle full of water. Place a bowl below the bottle.
Take a pin and puncture a hole on the side of the bottle. Water does not come out. It remains within.
Now open the cap
See what happens! The water starts leaking out from that hole.
When the cap was Closed – There was no Air Pressure so no air to press the water out.
When the cap was Opened – It increased Air Pressure so air comes into the bottle and it presses the water out.
The closed bottle of water is a person with a closed mind. Not open to listening to other’s views. Open bottle represents an open mind, open to listening to others views. The water leaking out of the bottle shows that our habit of not listening to other’s gradually goes away once we become open minded.
