Today is the Crystal Wings Race - the biggest, fastest, wildest race in Fairyland!

"Ria (Silver Fairy) and Tia (Golden Fairy) are hot favorites and the worst enemies. “I’m the best flyer,” says Ria. “No, by far I am!” snaps Tia".

They always try to beat each other. If Ria flies fast, Tia flies faster. Super competitive… Other participants are far from both.

The Fairy Queen reminds them. “Racing is fun,” she says, “winning and losing is just a part of the game.” Ria and Tia just look away.

"Ria trains at dawn, zooming like silver lightning. Tia trains at night, spinning like golden fire. Both watch each other and think similarly, “She’s not weak but I WILL do even better and win.”

"It's Race Day…all fairies lined up… Whistle blows! Ria blasts forward. Tia shoots up beside her. They bump, spin, and glare mid-air.

"Suddenly - “KABOOM!!!” A dark tornado appears! Storm clouds swirl… Winds roar. Fairies scream and scatter!

A giant gust SLAMS Ria sideways. Another gust throws Tia spinning down. Both start falling… fast!

Ria boosts herself looking at this Challenge as an opportunity and steadies She sees Tia falling on her way... Ria still keeps flying ahead trying hard to ignore… “Gosh, I see the finish line but why can't I pretend that I didn’t see her

Tia…!” Ria dived back down! She grabs her hand. “Hold on!” Ria shouts. “Go ahead and win, it's your chance!” Tia flaps hard and grabs. “Win without a worthy opponent is no fun” Ria pulls.

They help smaller fairies out of the storm. Tia and Ria land almost at the same time. “Good Race! But next time I will win!” Ria says. “I will not lose to you!” Tia says.

The Queen declares with pride. “It's ok to want to win… Fast wings are good… but kind wings are better… We’ve a tie!” Ria and Tia high-five and make a wing-pinky promise to race even harder next time.
