Like every summer this time too summer camps were organized across India.
Approximately 2707 kids aged between 7 to 12 years participated in the regional camps held in Simandhar City, Baroda, Rajkot, Surat, Morbi, Surendranagar, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, Gandhidham,Anjar, Mumbai and Pune. Keeping in mind Dadashri's heartfelt wish of nurturing kids with right values and understanding, different topics were introduced to kids through various mediums - video clips, satsang clips, storytelling, craft activities,presentations etc.
Emphasis was given on these key topics :
a) Trimantra: With the help of quiz and flash cards, the meaning and importance of Trimantra was shared with kids.
b) Store of happiness: Happiness increases by sharing. Kids portrayed their ideas of happiness by making models of clubs like Happiness club, Toys club etc.
c) Pratikraman: A simple experiment of washing clothes when they get stained was performed by the kids. It made them understand that we tend to hurt others with a great amount of intensity, hence we need to ask for forgiveness.
d) Respect your parents: Kids made scooby key chains to gift their parents. They were also made to realize the value of parents through a satsang clip.
e) Simandhar Swami: Who is Simandhar Swami? Where does He reside? Answers to such questions were given by showing them an interesting animated video clip, "Tour to Mahavideh."
Along with that, kids thoroughly enjoyed playing a treasure hunt game based on the theme of Lord Simandhar Swami. At the end, kids were overwhelmed with gifts and lot of memories to cherish.
